Ecolibrium3 Urban Farm Workshop: Trellising and Pruning Cucumbers and Tomatoes

In this free, one-hour workshop, an instructor teaches how to properly trellis tomatoes and vining cucumbers to save space and increase yields. There is a demonstration of simple, effective pruning techniques that will improve air circulation, prevent disease and help focus plant energy on fruit production. Participants leave the workshop with the confidence to manage tomato and cucumber crops from planting to harvest. Wear comfortable, layered clothing and closed-toe shoes for the hands-on garden session. Registration is required.
