Common Cents: The Money and Homebuyer Class
This 12-to-16-hour class reoccurs monthly and is held as a four-part series each month. The course always begins on the second Wednesday of every month. Attendees can learn about budgeting to create savings, understanding credit reports, getting out of debt, avoiding predatory lending and getting a mortgage. The Lincoln Park Farmers Market kicks off the spring growing season. The event includes live music, venderes and a seed swap. Hosts encourage guests to bring their dancing shoes and extra seeds. Market vendors sell items such as produce, eggs, meat, canned goods, baked goods, gluten free and vegan items, crafts, health products, and garden and bedding plants.
