Walt Dizzo hosts Trivia Mafia Thursday evenings at Pizza Lucé. Prizes for the top three teams include $75 in gift cards for first place, $50 for second and $25 for third. It’s free to play and open to all ages.
Bentleyville Tour of Lights Opening Night 2026
Duluth’s Bentleyville Tour of Lights is the largest walk-through display of Christmas lights in America. Guests are invited to stroll under the glow of more than 5 million lights in a 20-acre park on the shores of Lake Superior. Mr. and Mrs. Claus, along with Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, are on hand for photos and handing out candy canes.
The event opens each night at 5 p.m., closing at 9 p.m. on Sundays through Thursdays and 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. For additional information visit bentleyvilleusa.org.
Bentleyville Tour of Lights is a nonprofit charitable organization with a mission to raise non-perishable food items and new unwrapped toys for families in need. The event is also an official drop-off site for the Salvation Army.

Basic Stained Glass
In this two-hour stained-glass class for beginners, students learn the basic techniques of cutting glass and construction using copper foil and solder. During class, participants create a stained-glass heart suncatcher.
The costs is $45 for Duluth MakerSpace members and $50 for nonmembers.

Grandma’s Marathon 2027
The 51st annual Grandma’s Marathon is a 26.2-mile race on scenic Highway 61 along the north shore of Lake Superior. It begins just outside of Two Harbors and finishes in Duluth’s Canal Park.
The Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon begins at 6:15 a.m. on the edge of Duluth’s city limits and follows the regular marathon course through the heart of Duluth.
The full marathon starts at 7:45 a.m. The winner should cross the finish line around 10 a.m.
