Concerts on the Pier: Superior Siren with Jumpsuit (Postponed)

This event has been postponed due to rain. It has been rescheduled for Sept. 3.

Inspired by Lake Superior and siren mythology, Superior Siren is an eerie folk project created by singer-songwriter Laura Sellner. She is backed by cellist Rachel Gobin, bassist Nyssa Krause, drummer Emma Deaner, and violinist Erin Aldridge.

Local funk band Jumpsuit opens the show.

Glensheen Mansion’s Concerts on the Pier are an opportunity for Duluthians to wander the grounds of the historic Congdon estate and enjoy free live music. Attendees are invited to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Food and drinks are available for purchase but small outside snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed. Do not bring in large coolers. Service animals are allowed on the estate; other pets are discouraged.

It is also encouraged to bike, boat, walk or kayak to the concert since parking is limited. Glensheen is offering a shuttle bus (with a suggested donation) between the University of Minnesota Duluth campus and Glensheen for each concert this year. Parking at UMD is free in Maroon Lot B during the summer.

Gates open at 5 p.m. The opening act performs at 5:30 p.m.; the headliner is at 6:30 p.m.
