Joining Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart and “Hitman” Bret Hart in the six-man cage match in Duluth was “Honkey Tonk Man” Wayne Ferris. They faced “Macho Man” Randy Savage and Strike Force (Tito Santana and Rick Martel).
According to the video, Ken Patera and Billy Jack Haynes were supposed to wrestle Demolition (Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow). Harley Race, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggen, the Killer Bees and the Conquistadors were also advertised to appear. There seems to be no records kept about what wrestlers actually did show up and what the match results were, other than that thehistoryofwwe.com indicates Jim Duggan did appear.
The PDD photo archive is pretty slim on this one, but there are three photos of the main event, the last of which appears to show Randy Savage escaping the cage and reaching the arena floor, perhaps winning the match for his team.
