Mystery Photo: Minnesota Slip Drawbridge

This old slide image shows a cabin cruiser passing under the Minnesota Slip Drawbridge, a pedestrian bridge spanning the Minnesota Slip on the Duluth waterfront. When was this photo taken?

The slide has the number “48” written on it, but that clearly doesn’t mean 1948; the bridge was built in 1991. There also is a stamp on the slide that appears to read “AUG 93FG3,” which cryptically hints at maybe August of 1993.

Do the structures in the background of the bridge give us clues to put a year on this photo?
