In this edition of PDD Video Lab we present 41 seconds of Duluthiness cut out of a 17-minute-long set of old movie clips that for the most part don’t seem to be shot in Duluth.
The full-length piece can be viewed on Vimeo: “Ft Bragg Duluth Color Workprint.” It was uploaded without a description, but it appears to show the United States Army Reserve’s Charlie Company, 407th Civil Affairs Battalion of Arden Hills, Minn., at various locations. Some of those locations are obviously not Duluth. Others might be Duluth; it’s not clear. But the two clips singled out in the Video Lab piece above were clearly shot in Duluth.
The original piece is silent; the Video Lab piece features the track “Another Day,” by the French band Air.
