This undated postcard photo of Duluth’s Downtown and Central Hillside area must have been shot from Point of Rocks, probably in the very early 1900s.
There is a message on the back of the postcard, but no stamp or postmark, indicating it was likely hand delivered to Miss Floss Baker. The message seems to indicate the sender of the card — who signs it simply “A” — has received a photo of Floss.
Received cards. Think your suggestion is good. Will place Floss in cozy corner. She looks good to me. Wish she was here to go to the show with me tonight.
