LakeVoice is an online magazine focused on providing the public with community news from throughout Duluth. The publication is advised by professor John Hatcher and is run by the Editing II course at UMD, with content coming from outside journalism courses. The LakeVoice team works together each week to publish entirely original student-produced content, with the mission of telling the untold stories of the community.
LakeVoice would like community members to engage themselves with the publication and welcomes readers to share any ideas for stories or comment on existing pieces. LakeVoice News is present on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Inquiries can also be sent to lakevoicenews @ gmail.com. LakeVoice is looking forward to bringing you community news from the Twin Ports area in the upcoming weeks.
