What Were You Watching? looks at the influence of media, film and television on the Baby-Boomers. Interviews of Minneapolis and Duluth residents appear prominently in the film.

Independent film producers Eric Holm and Gabriela de la Holm took on the project after becoming involved with the in creating a 10-minute short about the Greatest Generation.

After two years of preparation, the study of over 200 hours of archival footage and lining up interviews in Boston, Missouri and Minnesota the producers set forth in creating a about the influence of media on the Baby-Boomers.

Gabriela Estrada de la Holm (nee Long) began actively producing films in the late ’90s and has worked on a variety of films including feature-lengths Da Family (2005), Born in the Year of the Lover (2006), Perspectives on Steppin’ (2007) and with a 10-minute short On the Screen (2007).

Holm collaborates with other well-known independent artists such as Producer Katie Strand in Los Angeles and Stephen Thomson of Plomomedia in San Francisco.
