Beargrease Vet Checks and Meet the Mushers
In preparation for the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, every paw is checked. A team of 22 veterinarians and vet techs inspect every dog prior to the race. Race fans can walk around and talk to the mushers, handlers and race officials and learn all about the sport of mushing. South St. Louis County Fair 2023
The 102nd annual event has returned and runs through Sunday at the Proctor-Duluth Fairgrounds. General admission is $5 and free for ages 10 and younger. Go to Proctor Duluth Fair for a list of events and entertainment. Carnival wristbands are $25 and are required from 6-10 p.m. Friday and from noon-4 p.m. and 6-10 p.m. Saturday.
