Enjoy an evening of live music from local buskers on the Beach House patio. Bring a beach chair or blanket and grab a bite to eat from local food trucks. Restrooms are available inside the Beach House, and lifeguards will be on duty until 6 p.m.

Public Meeting Regarding FEMA Advanced Assistance Coastal Resilience and Mitigation
The public is invited to participate in two public outreach meetings regarding the Advanced Assistance Coastal Resilience and Mitigation Study hosted by the city of Duluth’s Property and Facilities Management Division. The Park Point 5-Miler is northern Minnesota’s oldest road race. The 52nd annual race starts near the Park Point Pavilion in Duluth and participants run down Minnesota Avenue before finishing back near the pavilion. Participants have the choice of a 5-mile run or a 2-mile walk. There are also Kids’ Races again this year, which are free and open to ages 14 and under. The Duluth Fire Department has issued a Red Flag Warning for Park Point beaches through 10 a.m. tomorrow due to the threat of dangerous rip currents. Everyone should stay out of the water regardless of swimming experience. There are no lifeguards at Park Point today. Surf condition flag locations are at the 12th Street beach, Lafayette Square and Park Point Public Beach House.
