Passion and Poets
The College of St. Scholastica Choirs’ spring concert will feature selections from the St. John Passion, commemorating the 300th anniversary of J.S. Bach's masterwork. Additionally, they will present repertoire that explores varied meanings of the word “passion” and compositions with notable poetry from a variety of genres. General admission is $7 but is free for students pre-K to college and Sisters of the St. Scholastica Monastery.
Find out more »CSS Family Music Series: Carnival of the Animals
Join the CSS String Orchestra and pianists Jessica Schroeder and Emily Valine as they perform Camille Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals, with narration by Kevin Quarmby. The program will also feature additional CSS student ensembles and kids will have an opportunity to try out various musical instruments for themselve. General admission is $7 for adults and free for all kids and students, pre-K to college, and free for Sisters of the St. Scholastica Monastery.

The CSS Concert Band and Handbell Ensemble will present a musical journey of acceptance and action that confronts the horrific reality of gun violence in the United States. Tragedy will be acknowledged and space will be made to consider purposeful action for a brighter future. Admission for students pre-K to college and Sisters of the St. Scholastica Monastery is free.
