Pollinator Marketplace
Sponsored by Duluth Monarch Buddies. Featured will be a pollinator/native-plant sale, with lots of milkweed provided by Shoreview Natives in Two Harbors. There will also be free milkweed seeds and resources on pollinator plants and gardening for Monarch butterflies and bees. DMB merchandise, including t-shirts and aprons, will be available for purchase. Credit-card sales preferred. DMB members will be on hand to answer questions about Monarchs and how to develop and increase pollinator habitat in yards and neighborhoods.

The UMD Faculty Brass Quintet performs an outdoor show in the parking lot of "the Coppertop Church." Food will be available from Paul Sapyta's Room at the Table Food Truck all afternoon, with a special event menu beginning at 6 p.m. Chairs will be available, but attendees can bring their own if they wish. Freewill donations will be accepted. There will be activities for kids. In the event of inclement weather the concert will be postponed to June 23.

Randy Lee's Jazz Combo presents an outdoor concert in the parking lot of "the Coppertop Church." Monarch Waystation Garden Tour
A self-guided tour of seven Duluth-certified monarch waystations, featuring gardens with a mix of milkweed and pollinator plants that provide the habitat needed for monarch butterflies and other pollinators to propagate and reach maturity. Duluth's internationally-acclaimed handbell ensemble performs. $15 donation is suggested. This performance is the homecoming concert of the group's 2022 summer tour. Strikepoint's repertoire ranges from a 1940's Glenn Miller ballad to Lady Gaga to a bluesy spiritual and includes both familiar and new music.

Tour of Duluth Monarch Waystation Gardens
This event is a self-driving tour of several Duluth Certified Monarch Waystation Gardens that feature a mix of milkweed, nectar and pollinator plants needed for the natural propagation of Monarch butterflies. First United Methodist Church invites participants dressed in costume from 10:00-11:00 for the church service. From 11:15 to 11:45 am, there will be trick-or-treating in the trunk of the cars, on the west side of the smaller parking lot. Park in the bigger parking lot and then walk over to this lot. There will be a bounce house in the parking lot too.

Vacation Bible School
This year's Vacation Bible School camp at the Coppertop Church meets July 17-21 from 9 a.m. to noon. Students meet at church for worship, games, snacks and Bible stories.
