Open House and Letterpress Print Exchange Show
Warrior Printress Letterpress and Design celebrates its one-year anniversary in the Lincoln Park Craft District. In addition to broadsheets and greeting cards, a work entitled “Hope is an Action” will be on display in the Duluth Pottery Gallery through the month of September. Masks required.

Letterpress: Survival in a Digital World
Letterpress is one of the oldest forms of printing technology, and the computer nearly killed it in the 1980s. Janelle Turner-Miller and Stacie Renne show how Warrior Printress Letterpress and Design are preserving and expanding the world of letterpress in the digital age. The demo of letterpress and its connection between 19th century presses and 21st century technology takes place in-person at Warrior Printress. Masks are required.

Handmade Holiday Market at Duluth Pottery
Join the artisans in Lincoln Park for a holiday shopping experience. There will be popup shops featuring local artists, handmade goods, art, and Red Mug holiday cookies. New pots will be featured from Karin Kraemer and Luke Krisak, along with holiday prints and cards from Warrior Printress Letterpress. Duluth Pottery Gallery will feature guest artist and children's book author Chris Monroe.

Modern Quilt Walkabout
The Lake Superior Modern Quilt Guild hosts its first ever quilt show to be held throughout the month of March. The Lake Superior Modern Quilt Guild’s Modern Quilt Walkabout quilt show runs from March 1-31 in two locations in the Lincoln Park Craft District. Chris Monroe: New Work on Earth Day
Celebrate Earth Day and stop by for art and snacks at Duluth Pottery in Lincoln Park. Chris Monroe will be the main artist, but the event will also feature the work of Warrior Printress and Luke Krisak. Lots of new drawings will be up on the walls as well as prints and books on sale for the celebration. The artwork will remain hanging for a month afterward.

Fungus Among Us Art Exhibit
Fungus Among Us is unique exhibition showing the artwork of two local artists, Naomi Christenson and Jennifer Murphy. Naomi Christenson, is a multi-disciplinary artist who is inspired by visual patterns in nature that creates colorful, playful riffs off natures patterns in her paintings. Duluth Pottery Gallery is pleased to host Natalija Walbridge for this Meet the Artist event. Walbridge is a fiber artist who works in her home studio on Park Point, in Duluth MN. Her exuberant use of color gives the viewer a sense of joy, similar to experiencing the wonder of nature. Her dedication to her craft is evident in every stitch of her work. Plein Air Painter Nelia Harper’s Opening Reception
Nelia Harper will present an art exhibit, Nature’s Palette: Plein Air Impressions of Water and Wildflowers. A graduate of Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art, Harper’s approach to landscape painting combines classical training with natural impressionism. Over the past four years, Harper has explored the north shore from Duluth to Grand Portage.
