The 4th St Wellness Festival includes food such as hot dogs and ice cream, kids art projects, bike tune-ups, Covid-19 vaccinations and testing, kids dental care, hair trims, blood pressure and glucose checks, warrant resolutions, driver diversions, SNAP sign-ups, rent and mortgage assistance sign-ups and more. Damiano Center 40th Anniversary Lunch
On March 15, 1982, the first meal served in the Damiano Center’s Community Kitchen was Hamburger Soup, made with Jean McKinnon's recipe. The same meal will be served 40 years later, to the day, in order to celebrate the work that has been done in the past four decades. McKinnon has allowed her recipe to be used again and so the Damiano Center will be honoring the past and looking toward the future, while enjoying soup.

March into Mentoring Campaign Launch
Mentor North is holding a public press conference to launch its 2024 “March into Mentoring” campaign. Speakers will include Mentor North representatives and key community partners. During March, Mentor North is asking community members to nominate caring adults who could spend four hours per month, mentoring a Twin Ports youth for at least one year.
