Climate Grief, Healing and Action Circle
Sierra Club members, supporters and activists hold their shared grief, make meaning out of collective experiences and move towards climate action and justice as a community. RSVPs recommended. A two-hour program with light snacks and beverages. All attendees are encouraged to wear masks; extra masks and hand sanitizer will be available for everyone.

Mountain bike ride to ‘Cheers to Chester’ benefit
Mountain bikers of all levels of ability are welcome to join a group trail ride. The route will start at the Chester Bowl parking lot and end at the Cheers to Chester fundraiser at Bent Paddle Brewery, 8.5 miles away. Shuttle rides will be available back to Chester Park at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Reserve your shuttle spot at Skihut.com or at the Ski Hut table. Preregistration encouraged but not required.

Chester Bowl Bridge Ribbon Cutting
The city of Duluth and the Chester Bowl Improvement Club will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the recent bridge installation that restores year-round access across Chester Creek and improves trail connectivity around Chester Bowl. The new bridge better supports recreation year-round. Duluth Parks and Rec will lead a hiking group for adults ages 55+. There will be a chance to explore a new trail each Monday evening throughout the summer. Hikes vary in difficulty. Chester Bowl Fall Fest 2023
The 38th annual Chester Bowl Fall Fest features more than 130 vendors displaying arts, crafts, produce and information about local programs. There will also be 10 food venders and live music. The Chester Bowl Improvement Club will be selling branded gear at the entrance. Suggested donations of $5 per person or $10 per family will be accepted at the entrance to support Chester winter program scholarships for kids in need who want to participate in winter sports.
