Join a discussion of Lady in the Lake by Laura Lippman. The book is a mystery about a housewife and wannabe reporter in 1960s Baltimore who investigate a murder. New members are welcome. Linda LeGarde Grover Poetry Reading: The Sky Watched
The Sky Watched is a collection of poetry—some bilingual—that "tells the collective story of a Minnesota Ojibwe family and tribal community against the backdrop of history that begins with creation and continues to this day." Public Meeting on Blatnik Bridge Project
The Minnesota and Wisconsin Departments of Transportation are hosting a public meeting to share information on the Blatnik Bridge project. The presentation will include information on the narrowed-down list of bridge alignments and interchange alternatives being studied. The public is encouraged to ask questions and give feedback. 13th Annual Love Your Local Artist
Love Your Local Artist is our annual fundraiser that celebrates local art, local libraries, and community that includes tons of local art, live music, wine and refreshments. Plus, there will be our Tiny Art Show and a raffle featuring artwork donated by participating artists. All funds raised from the raffle and registration fees are used to support the library’s many programs and services throughout the year.

Local Author Jeff Esterholm
Author Jeff Esterholm’s new collection of short crime stories, The Effects of Urban Renewal on Mid-Century America and Other Crime Stories. Set in the fictional town of Port Nicollet (which bears a close resemblance to Superior), this collection features characters who burrow under your skin and explores what happens when people slip their moorings and are set adrift.
