This year’s Unplugged continues the decades-long tradition of celebrating music, craft and regional food and beverages as a community. Thursday and Friday night will feature Sean Carey, Pieta Brown, Mike Lewis, Jeremy Ylvisaker, Joe Rainey Sr., Dylan Jennings and Barbara Jean Meyers. Saturday morning features the second annual free family concert -- this year with five-time Grammy nominee Justin Roberts. Winterers’ Gathering and Arctic Film Festival
The Winterers’ Gathering and Arctic Film Festival celebrates the crafts, customs, history and stories that have been inspired by winter. Come to North House Folk School for a weekend packed with winter-centric events including an Arctic Film Fest, winter tent camp, a great gear and ski sale, contra dancing, a chili feed, slam poetry and more. Wool, woodstoves, and winter weave together for Fiber Week at North House Folk School, a thematic week celebrating all manner of fiber arts. The day-long conference features craft demonstrations, presentations, mini-courses and a Fiber Fun Fair. This year’s featured Speaker is Mette Østman, a felter from Denmark. Wood Week at North House Folk School
A weeklong event that celebrates woodcarving, woodturning and all manner of wood-related crafts. Courses and evening activities happening March 11-18. The Carver's Conference takes place on March 15, featuring craft demonstrations, presentations and more. Special guest instructors Julia Kalthoff (Sweden) and Mark Gardner (North Carolina).

Northern Landscapes Festival
The Northern Landscapes Festival celebrates the birds, wildflowers and geology of Lake Superior's North Shore. North House Folk School hosts the weekend of field-focused courses and evening activities May 31 to June 2. Evening presentations are free and open to all, and course registration is open. Summer Solstice and Wooden Boat Festival
The Summer Solstice and Wooden Boat Festival celebrates summer on Lake Superior by weaving together craft, community and the beauty of long days by the lake. Highlights include hands-on crafting for all ages, a harborside boat walk, live music and contra dancing, a cookout and ice cream social, a craft tools and supplies auction, and a Summer Solstice Pageant by the Good Harbor Hill Players.
