Gift of Love Fall Fundraiser 2017
This is a catered dinner and silent auction to raise funds to help those who experience hunger and homelessness in the Duluth area and organizations such as the Damiano Center and CHUM in Duluth or the Solid Rock Center and Catholic charities in Superior. This year's event will also raise funds for agencies that help victims of recent hurricanes in the United States. The event is organized by Gift of Love, a 501(c)(3) charity -- EIN 71-0990623.

Minnesota Power Natural Gas Plant Proposal and Rate Changes Public Hearing
Three nonprofit organizations are providing two free sessions to help consumers understand Minnesota Power’s new electric rates and the utility’s proposal to build a new gas power plant. Garden Tour of Certified Monarch Butterfly Waystations
This is a self-driving tour of selected Certified Monarch Waystations within Duluth. These are gardens that have been certified by Monarch Watch as having a mixture of plants; milkweed and nectar flowers needed for natural propagation and growth of monarch butterflies. Sponsored by Duluth Monarch Buddies. Featured will be a pollinator/native-plant sale, with lots of milkweed provided by Shoreview Natives in Two Harbors.
