An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until Jul 22, 2021
Join certified instructor Laura Star to learn T’ai Chi Chih, a flowing meditation practiced around the world. The practice is meant to improve mind, body and balance. T’ai Chi Chih does not require a level of fitness or coordination. For those with physical limitations, movements may be done seated. Bring a cushion, mat or folding chair to sit on. Wear very flat shoes. A practice DVD is also available for purchase for $15.

Students will join certified instructor Laura Star in Enger Park's pavilion overlooking the harbor to learn T’ai Chi Chih (tie chee cha), a flowing, moving meditation practiced around the world. T’ai Chi Chih does not require a level of fitness or coordination. No sign-up required. Donations accepted.

The Duluth Preservation Alliances annual picnic and cleanup event at Enger Park Cleanup is an in-person, outdoor event. Participants meet at the main pavilion and can share in a picnic at 6 p.m. before joining in cleanup activities at 6:30 p.m. Attendees should bring their own picnic food and cleanup items such as bags and gloves. Rain Date: Wednesday, July 13 (same times and location)

Yoga at Enger Park
Duluth Business Group hosts a fall night of yoga and hot beverages. The class is for all experience levels and led by yoga instructor Mary Kotter. Apple cider and hot chocolate are be provided by Duluth Business Group. Attendees are asked to RSVP on Eventbrite, bring their own yoga mat, and dress accordingly for the weather.

Adventure Book Club
Join the Duluth Public Library in a book discussion in one of Duluth’s beautiful parks, followed by a low-impact, optional hike led by Parks and Recreation. We will meet at Enger Park to discuss August’s selection, H is for Hawk by Helen MacDonald. This memoir weaves MacDonald’s struggle with grief into her pursuit of the sport of falconry. Duluth Parks and Rec will lead a hiking group for adults ages 55+. There will be a chance to explore a new trail each Monday evening throughout the summer. Hikes vary in difficulty.
