Winter out West: Winter Walk

The St. Louis River Alliance, as part of the Winter Out West festivities, presents a Winter Walk on the Waabizheshikana Trail (previously known as the Western Waterfront Trail).

This gravel trail is great for beginners and is a popular destination for birding, fishing and hiking. Come learn about some of the plants and animals that call the estuary home. Hot chocolate, coffee and snacks will be provided.

There is a parking lot and free on-street parking at the Waabizheshikana/Western Waterfront Trailhead where the walk will start. Valley Youth Center will also be providing van and bus shuttles to and from Zenith Bookstore to the trail — bus loading time will be 12:15 p.m.
