Winter Out West is packed with exciting activities and events for all ages. Join us for a celebration of community, winter fun and local culture.
6 p.m. – Opening Ceremony with Mayor Reinert, Councilor Kennedy, President Tomanek, Vice President Nephew and Russ Salgy opening remarks
6:30 to 9 p.m. – Youth Program with Dan The Monkeyman plus the Showcase of Stars: Youth and Young Adults Welcome
Start the weekend with an opening ceremony featuring local leaders and a special youth program with live entertainment. Explore the outdoors with winter walks, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fat tire biking, and ice sculpting. Warm up by the bonfire with s’mores or grab a cup of hot chocolate at the Police Fun-Van.
Indoor activities include book readings and meet-and-greets with featured authors at Zenith Bookstore, a health resource event with flu and COVID vaccinations, and a free screening of the family-favorite movie Jumanji at The West Theatre. Skating enthusiasts can also bring their skates for some winter fun at Spirit Mountain.
