DESCRIPTION:Learn about the importance of walkability for creating healthy and successful communities. Attend one or all of the events. Visit a different Duluth neighborhood each month and focus on a new section of the book\, Walkable City: How Downtown Can Save America One Step At A Time\, by Jeff Speck (10th edition) \nCopies of the book are available to check-out for card holders at the Duluth Public Library and in the UMD Library. There are three circulating copies of the book and a Book Club in a Bag kit available for check out. This kit includes ten copies of the book and a discussion guide. Check out the links on this document  \nJoin Duluth Public Library at Congdon Park for a book club in the great outdoors. The event is held at a different city park each month with a discussion of a book with an outdoor theme\, followed by a low-impact\, optional hike led by Parks and Recreation.
