UW-Superior Symphonic Band and Percussion Ensemble Concert

The UW_Superior Symphonic Band and Percussion Ensemble performance will feature two Caribbean-style steel drum ensemble pieces by Texas-based composer, CJ Menje.

Other pieces will include a traditional Mexican marimba ensemble piece “Las Tripas,” music from Ghana as preparation for the Music Department’s upcoming trip to Ghana in January, “Metallic Lullaby” by Eric Peel, and a large percussion ensemble composition exploring various percussive sounds and timbre written by Jones entitled “Water Nymphs.”
