UUCD Forum: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives

In this Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth forum, Rene Ann Goodrich of the Native Lives Matter Coalition, will be speaking about efforts to organize a Feb. 14 annual march and other events surrounding the missing and murdered Indigenous women epidemic.

Native American and Alaska Native women, girls, and 2-spirit people make up a significant portion of all people missing and murdered in the United States. Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives is a movement in both the United States and Canada working to raise awareness of this profound problem — a problem that affects Minnesota, and specifically the Twin Ports, more than many other parts of the country.
