UMD Shark Tank Entrepreneurship Competition 2018
The Labovitz School of Business and Economics presents the third annual UMD Shark Tank Entrepreneurship Competition. UMD students will hawk business plans for bandanas for cancer patients, a negative-waste urban mushrooms farm, a review website for renters and more to a panel of judges from the Duluth business community for a chance to win cash prizes of up to $1,500. The audience will also vote for their favorite business idea, awarding that entrepreneur $300.
Attendees can ask contestants questions about their business ideas and enjoy light refreshments. Audience members have the opportunity to win door prizes and University of Minnesota Duluth students will be credited with group A passport credit for attending.
