UMD Bulldogs Football vs. MSU Moorhead

The University of Minnesota Duluth football team faces the Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons in its home opener. It’s also the annual Military Appreciation Day game. UMD is partnering with local military organizations to raise money and awareness for Operation One Voice, a program designed by police officers, firefighters and community leaders to generate funds to help support the immediate needs of children and families of wounded and fallen Special Operations Forces.
Tickets to the game are free to all current and former members of the military (with an ID) and $5 for military spouses and children. In honor of the servicemen and women of the Armed Forces, Bulldog players will wear special helmet decals.

The game will be broadcast on KBJR-TV channel 6.3 “My9” with Barrett Anderson and Vince Repesh serving as the on-air talent. The radio broadcast is on KDAL 610 AM and 103.9 FM.
