Was the Duluth Ship Canal really dug by hand over the course of a weekend? Did the Zenith City ever have “more millionaires per capita than any other city in America? Did Mark Twain eve utter the words, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in Duluth”? Find out when Duluth author and Zenith City Press publisher Tony Dierckins presents “Duluth’s Greatest Myths: Famous Fabulous Fibs and Fantastic Fictions of the Zenith City.”

The second annual Twin Ports Festival of History runs March 30 to April 4 at multiple venues in Duluth and Superior and features lectures, tours and more.
