Superior Street Reconstruction Public Meeting
The city of Duluth launches the next season of transformation in Downtown Duluth with a series of upcoming events. Superior Street will undergo the second of three phases of construction to install improved utilities, energy-efficient closed-loop hot-water heat system, and streetscape amenities that cater to more pedestrian activity.
The second phase extends from Lake Avenue to Fourth Avenue East.
Monday, April 1 at 10:00 am – A public meeting will be held at Greysolon Ballroom to provide information pertinent to this phase of the project.
Monday, April 8 – Pending weather conditions, Superior Street from Lake Avenue to Third Avenue East will be closed.
Monday, April 8 at 1 p.m. – Season two public kickoff event in front of the Tech Village between Lake Avenue and First Avenue East. The public is invited to attend the event that will include speeches from Mayor Emily Larson, Kristi Stokes with the Greater Downtown Council, Northland Constructors and several other key partners of the project.
