The Duluth Art Institute’s Strongman: Joe Klander exhibit features drawings and full-scale dioramas exploring wrestling heroes and strongmen of Klander’s youth, including the ultimate action figure of his day, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Klander is an ophthalmology technician, professional wrestler, father, husband, 1980’s movie aficionado, arts and crafts enthusiast and illustrator.
A special opening night match will feature figures from Minnesota’s professional wrestling history. Come for the culture, stay for the dropkicks.
