SOAR Conference 2022

The fourth annual Seize Opportunities and Rise Conference is an online and in-person seminar for women business owners, entrepreneurs and leaders in the Duluth area. Events run Oct. 11-13.

Events on Tuesday, Oct. 11, will be mostly online, with two in-person events in Princeton or Duluth.

Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to noon – Virtual SOAR Event
Join from anywhere for a morning of entrepreneurial inspiration from local women who are thriving small business owners. Start the day with an optional 20-minute gentle yoga session at 8:30 a.m. The conference begins at 9 a.m. with keynote speaker Jasmine Brett Stringer taking stage at 9:20 a.m., a panel of regional small business owners follows at 10:30 a.m. and concludes with a Q&A session. The conference ends at noon.

Wednesday, 4 to 7 p.m. – Central Region SOAR Event
For those in Central Minnesota, Day 2 of the SOAR Conference is at the Northern Lights Ballroom & Banquet Center near Princeton. It continues the virtual conference discussion in person and connects with more than 100 women entrepreneurs. Learn how to effectively tell a story with Dawn Zimmerman, who recently served as chief marketing officer at Marco. Check-in is at 4 p.m. The program begins at 4:30 p.m. The event concludes at 7 p.m.

Thursday, 4 to 7 p.m. – North Region SOAR Event
For those in Northern Minnesota or Northern Wisconsin, the final day of the SOAR Conference event is at the Garden in Duluth’s Canal Park. It continues the virtual conference discussion in person and connects with more than 100 women entrepreneurs. Learn from local entrepreneur Lucie Amundsen how to lean into creativity to grow a small business. Check-in is at 4 p.m. The program begins at 4:30 p.m. The event will conclude at 7 p.m.
