Radio Waves Music Festival 2019
The 12th annual Radio Waves Music Festival in Grand Marais features 25 musical acts from the region performing at Sweetheart’s Bluff at the west end of the Grand Marais Recreation Area over three days, Sept. 6-8.
The weekend will feature performances by the Carpenter Ants, Pushing Chain, Joshua J. Schmidt Band, Woodblind, Yellow Bellied Sapsuckers, Cherry Dirt, Lake Effect and the students and teachers of the Grand Marais Music Collaborative.
4 p.m. – North Shore Community Swing Band
5:10 p.m. – Eric Frost
6 p.m. – North Country Fair
6:50 p.m. – The Fish Heads
7:50 p.m. – Pushing Chain
8:50 p.m. – Wunderdogs
Radio Waves is held rain or shine, with two stages housed under a large tent. It includes on-site food as well as children’s activities for a portion of Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is $10 per day or $20 for the weekend. Children age 12 and under can attend for free.
