In this interview, Eve Tushnet will share her perspective as a lesbian and convert to Catholicism. Ms. Tushnet is an author of fiction and non-fiction, much of which explores her experience of living the Catholic faith while embracing a Gay identity. Most notably, she is the author of Gay and Catholic: Accepting My Sexuality, Finding Community, Living My Faith (Ave Maria Press, 2014) and Tenderness: A Gay Christian’s Guide to Unlearning Rejection and Experiencing God’s Extravagant Love (Ave Maria Press, 2021). This is the second of two interviews this spring semester showcasing different Catholic perspectives on the topic of Catholicism and LGBTQ+ identities.
