Nature Journaling and the Art of Observation
Event Navigation

In this three-hour workshop-style class, attendees are guided in developing a practice of nature journaling, using words and sketches to record observations, reflections and questions about nature.
The class begins in the Folk School with time for attendees to share their interests, goals and ideas for what to include in a nature journal. The group then moves outdoors to make observations and record them in their journals. Attendees finish with time together to share observations, questions and resources. If weather is unfavorable for outdoor exploration, the class will bring nature indoors for the observation time.
