Minnesota Mile 2017
The 11th annual Minnesota Mile road race will be run on Skyline Parkway, starting near Enger Park Golf Course. Participants will proceed east on Skyline Parkway around Enger Park. They will then run by Twin Ponds and make their way back to the finish along Hank Jensen Drive. All pre-race and post race activities will take place at Enger Park Golf Course. In addition to the elite race, the event includes a youth and recreational race.
Among the premier class of one-mile runners entered is 2014 and 2015 champion Jack Bolas. He won with a time of 4 minutes and 6 seconds in 2015 and a time of 4 minutes and 2 seconds in 2014. Minnesota Mile 2012 and 2014 women’s champion Heather Kampf is also entered. She ran a 4.29.9 mile in 2014 and a 4:36.5 mile in 2012. They will be racing in an elite division that features an $18,000 prize purse with the men’s and women’s winners each receiving $2,500.
The Minnesota Mile is a stop on the nationwide Bring Back the Mile Tour 2017.

The pre-registration entry fee is $20 and late registration is $30 for adults.
