DESCRIPTION:In celebration of Manufacturing Day\, ME Elecmetal opens its foundry doors to employees\, students\, educators\, customers\, suppliers and the communities it serves to educate the public on the importance of the manufacturing industry and to encourage next-generation workers to explore careers in manufacturing\, engineering\, metallurgy\, skilled trades\, operations and maintenance fields.  \nME Elecmetal’s Manufacturing Day events take place at each of the company’s United States foundry locations — Duluth and Tempe\, Ariz. \nThese family friendly events include public tours of ME Elecmetal’s facilities and metal casting demonstrations. ME Elecmetal’s goal is to educate the public on the importance of the metal casting industry to both its communities and the U.S. economy. The company also wants to show younger workers that metal casting is a rewarding career path. \nManufacturing Day is also an opportunity to celebrate the people behind the industry.
