Magnolia Salon: Katherine Hillbrand

Katherine Hillbrand, emeritus principal at Sala Architects, will discuss how she tries to use the underlying principles of “slojd” in her architectural designs. By paying attention to and capitalizing on the nature of commonplace building components, she seeks to reveal the artistic potential in the utilitarian.
