Lincoln Park Open House 2017

Sat, Oct 14, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm | Free |

Event Navigation

Thirty-plus businesses and organizations throughout Lincoln Park will host special activities, discounts, samples and tours to highlight the excitement surrounding the Lincoln Park neighborhood during its open house event.

Lincoln Park Open House has developed from a small pop-up shop in 2015 to a neighborhood-wide event with live music to children’s activities to a welcoming invitation with a cup of free coffee and everything in between.

“The Lincoln Park Business Group was thrilled to see the response to the temporary art on Elephant Rock in the park last year, said Charlie Deville, Lincoln Park Business Group President, We are lucky to have world class artists like Jonathan Thunder in Duluth who want to take on this unique art project for this year’s Open House. It is definitely an event favorite already.”

A free hop-on-hop-off bus will be running a loop past all event locations so attendees can park once, but still easily see everything the event has to offer. Event brochures can be picked up at participating locations on the day of the event, indicated by the bright green neighborhood balloons.

Discounted tickets at the Duluth Children’s Museum, free family activities across from US Bank and at the Duluth Art Institute’s Lincoln Building, s’mores at OMC Smokehouse, the MN DOT Go Mobile and Ojibwe crafts with Lincoln Park Children and Families Collaborative are just a few of the free kid-friendly activities at Open House. Adults can enjoy music at Bent Paddle and Bergey’s Sports Bar, as well as discounts and deals throughout the event. A health fair at First Covenant Church will include CPR training and for those curious about the next new businesses in Lincoln Park may want to pick up free seed bombs at The Fort LNPK or pop into Duluth Pottery for the Yart Sale.
