Day Tripper of Duluth offers kayak tours at Glensheen on Wednesdays at 4 p.m. and on Thursdays and Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m. Participants paddle out onto Lake Superior from the shore of Glensheen and see the estate from a new perspective.
Spot the sunken breakwater and paddle up Tischer Creek nearly to the base of the house while learning a bit about the natural and cultural history of the estate and area. Kayak tours do not include a mansion tour but do include Glensheen grounds admission access.
