Invasive Species Removal Session
Event Navigation
The city of Duluth, in partnership with the Duluth Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area, is hosting a volunteer work session along the Craft Connector Trail, located in Central Park. The event will occur rain or shine, but will be canceled if lightning is present.
This effort will focus on removal of mature garlic mustard by hand-pulling individual plants. Though garlic mustard is not irritating to exposed skin, volunteers should plan to bring sturdy footwear. Gloves will be provided if desired.
Volunteers should plan to meet where the trail crosses on West First Street at approximately 14th Avenue West (GPS Coordinates: 46.774234, -92.117782), and park along the north side of the street.
