Indigenous Foods Expo
Duluth’s first Indigenous Foods Expo is an opportunity to learn about, engage with and taste-test the region’s first foods. The event will feature healthy and indigenous food producers/farmers, art and organizational vendors, food processing and cooking demos in the park, family-friendly cultural art activities, music performances, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, games and more. This will be a zero-waste event.
NOTE: This event was originally scheduled to take place at Niiwin Market and Central Hillside Park. Due to weather, the main event will now take place at American Indian Community Housing Organization’s main building. Parking is available at the Arrowhead Place parking lot on Second Avenue West, in the Lake Superior College parking lot across from AICHO on Second Street, and at meters.
The Basketball tournament and Lacrosse activities have been relocated to Washington Community Center, 310 N. First Ave. W.
