Indigenous Authors Book Launch: Marcie Rendon and Vern Northrup

Indigenous authors Marcie Rendon and Vern Northrup sell copies of their latest books and share excerpts from their writing in a family-friendly book release celebration. Refreshments will be served and copies of the authors’ books will be on sale and available for the authors to sign.

Marcie R. Rendon, author of the recently released Girl Gone Missing, is a member of the White Earth Anishinabe Nation. Her first novel, Murder on the Red River, won the Pinckley Prize for Debut Crime Fiction.

Vern Northrup is a visual storyteller whose primary medium is photography. Her most recent book of photography is called Akinomaage, and focuses on the area where she grew up.
