SUMMARY:Ice Cream Social
DESCRIPTION:The annual Fairlawn fundraiser and ice cream social combines community fun\, sweet treats\, music and activities to support preserving one of Superior’s historic landmarks. Donations from the event will be used for continued restoration efforts at the mansion\, new exhibits for the community and helping fund the field trip program. \nBesides ice cream\, the event will feature a car show\, free tours\, kids games\, a vendor market\, a petting zoo with Adventure Acres\, raffle prizes and giveaways. It is also the 100-year anniversary of baseball icon Babe Ruth visiting Fairlawn and a new plaque will be presented on the front steps of the mansion. Bring a baseball glove and play catch with special guests\, the UW-Superior Baseball Team.
