Veterans Memorial Hall, a program of St. Louis County Historical Society, presents the premiere of the documentary We Never Forgot Him: USMC SGT James Joseph Hubert’s Long Journey Home.

Marine Sergeant James Joseph Hubert was born in Duluth in 1921. He was killed in the Battle of Tarawa in 1943 during World War II. The documentary tells the story of Hubert’s repatriation home to Duluth in the summer of 2017.

Admission is free; there is a cash bar. Parking is available behind the Duluth Depot complex. Follow signage for the North Shore Scenic Railway parking.
