Healthy Kids Day 2023

Duluth Area Family YMCA is hosting Healthy Kids Day at the Downtown Duluth YMCA from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. and at the YMCA at the Essentia Wellness Center from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Non-members of the Y ages 16+ need to bring an ID.

YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day includes fun, active play and educational activities to keep kids moving and learning to maintain healthy habits. When kids are out of school, they can face hurdles that prevent them from reaching their full potential. As a leading nonprofit committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, the Y addresses critical gaps in kids’ health and education. Nearly 1.2 million children and their families are expected to participate in YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day at more than 1,600 locations across the country. For 31 years Healthy Kids Day has celebrated kids’ health and continues to teach healthy habits for kids and families, encourage active play and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity.
