Harrison Park Improvements Meeting
Duluth’s Parks and Recreation division invites the public to attend an informational meeting to discuss 2017 improvements to Harrison Park. Residents who attend will be able to provide feedback on the final design elements.
Proposed improvements to the park include circulation sidewalks to better connect the adjacent neighborhood to the park, tennis court removal, tree planting and other amenity options. In 2016, the City Council approved the Harrison Park Mini-Master Plan which outlines both short-term and long-term improvements to the park and acts as a guiding document for both the city and community partners.
Anyone unable to attend this meeting, can email comments or questions to Lisa Luokkala, project coordinator, at lluokkala @ duluthmn.gov or call at 218-730-4312.
Harrison Park is part of the larger St. Louis River Corridor Initiative: Connecting People to the River and is funded in part by the ½ and ½ Tourism Tax Fund.
