This University of Minnesota Duluth Recreational Sports Outdoor Program session combines the first two sessions, adding additional detail about natural anchors. Participants will be placing and connecting anchor points, and setting up simulated and actual top-rope climbs.
Gear is provided; additional personal gear is welcome. Transportation to the climbing location is provided. Participants should bring warm clothes, a lunch, snacks and water.
Register by noon on Sept. 24. Meet at the outdoor tennis courts by the UMD Sports and Health Center. The cost is $15 for UMD student members and $45 for others.
