Gym to Crag: Top Rope Anchors (Session 2: Indoor Practice, Connecting 2-4 Piece Anchors)

This University of Minnesota Duluth Recreational Sports Outdoor Program event offers hands-on practice combining two, three and four pieces of protection to create top-rope climbing anchors. Safety at the cliff edge and efficiency/timeliness will also be addressed. Gear is provided; additional personal gear is welcome. Prerequisites: Anchors session 1 or equivalent experience placing climbing protection.

Register by noon on the day of the event. Meet at the Inland Wall at the UMD Sports and Health Center. The cost is $5 for UMD student members and $15 for others.
