The Arrowhead Native Plant Explorers’ first hike of their Guided Hike Series. This hike will feature a lesser-known entry point to Jay Cooke State Park which abounds with spring ephemerals such as bloodroot, spring beauty, trout lilies and dutchman’s breeches.

The event will take place on the west side of Jay Cooke State Park, at the end of Leimer Road (West entry). Parking is available in a small, unpaved lot and along the Leimer Road. General directions: head South from Carlton on 45 approximately 1.3 miles and turn left on Leimer Road.
